Missed Call Recovery

The phone rings while you’re busy. What happens next?

The phone rings while you are driving, working or already with a customer. Missed Call Recovery uses an AI-powered Call Handler to answer when you can’t, ask a few useful questions and pass the details back to the business.

The problem

The call you cannot answer can still be the customer you needed.

Most people won’t leave a voicemail, and many will go with whoever replies first. Call Handler picks up the calls you can’t, so the enquiry has somewhere to go.

  • 54%

    won’t leave a voicemail

    if they can’t get through

  • 70%

would likely choose the business that replied first

if the reply is prompt and professional

What it actually does

The caller gets an answer. You get the useful information.

Call Handler is AI-powered and configured around your business, so the questions it asks are the ones that matter to you, not a generic list.

What happens on a call

  1. It answersWhen you can’t.
  2. It understandsWhy the person is calling.
  3. It asksThe useful questions.
  4. It capturesThe details.
  5. It hands overThe information reaches you.

An example call

From call to useful information.

A phone rings with a call from a potential customer and the business cannot answer. Call Handler, an AI-powered call handler, answers instead. The caller says there is water coming through the ceiling; Call Handler asks for her name and postcode, then whether it is still coming through now. Those answers become a new enquiry: Sarah Doyle, LE67, water coming through ceiling, urgent and happening now, next step call back. The business is notified on its own phone and can call back or message.

Why it helps

Turn missed calls into useful enquiries, not unknown numbers.

  • Calls get answered

When you can’t pick up, the caller still gets a response.

  • Useful questions get asked

Call Handler gathers the details worth knowing before you call back.

  • You get useful context

Know who called, where they are and what they need.

  • Urgency is easier to see

A structured summary gives you more than an unknown missed number.

  • You keep control

AI handles the first conversation. You decide what happens next.

Why AI

AI handles the first conversation so you don’t have to stop what you’re doing.

You shouldn’t have to put the work down just to find out why somebody called. Call Handler takes the repetitive first step and hands the useful context back to you.

It isn’t there to replace the business owner’s judgement.

AI handles

  • Answering the call
  • Asking the useful questions
  • Capturing the details

You keep

  • Your judgement
  • The customer relationship
  • What happens next

How it works

Set up around your business.

  1. Tell us how you work

Services, areas, hours and common call reasons.

  2. We configure and test it

Set the questions, boundaries and handling around your business.

  3. Switch it on

Use it for the missed-call situations you want covered.

The commercial case

Built to earn its keep.

It doesn’t need to recover many enquiries to justify £69/month.

£69a month
One recovered enquiry worth more than £69
That month’s subscription, covered

If one recovered enquiry turns into work worth more than £69, Missed Call Recovery has covered that month’s subscription.

Not every missed call becomes a customer. But the calls already coming into the business have value — answering more of them keeps more opportunities in play.

What it costs

One monthly price.

Common questions

Before you ask.

Is Call Handler AI?

Yes. Call Handler is AI-powered call handling, configured around your business: what you do, where you work, why people usually call and what it should ask. You still decide what happens next.

Does it replace my phone number?

Where it is technically possible, no. You keep the number customers already know, and how calls reach Call Handler is confirmed for your setup before anything is switched on.

When does it answer?

When you’ve agreed it should: missed calls, busy calls or after hours. Those rules are set during setup, and nothing goes live until you’ve tested them.

What can it ask?

Typically the caller’s name and number, their area, why they’re calling and how urgent it is. The exact questions are agreed per business.

Can I control what it says?

Yes. The questions, tone and boundaries are configured around your business and tested before go-live, including what it should not attempt to handle.

What happens if it doesn’t know the answer?

Call Handler isn’t there to answer everything. It stays within the boundaries agreed in setup, takes the caller’s details and passes the enquiry on to you.

What information do I receive?

A clear summary of the call, typically name, number, area, reason and urgency, so you can decide whether to call back, message or price the job.

Does it book appointments?

Not as standard. Call Handler answers the call and captures the details; booking isn’t included. If you need it connected later, that’s a separate conversation.

Does it transfer calls?

No. Call transfer isn’t part of Call Handler. It takes the details and passes them on, and you call back.

Can I test it first?

Yes. Book a demo and see how the call is handled and what the business receives afterwards. It is tested with you again before anything goes live.

How much does it cost?

Call Handler is £69/month, set up and tested with you before go-live.
